Mountain Lake Yesterday my mom and I drove down to Mountain Lake, MN, where my parents were born and my grandfather still resides. I was flattered to be invited to give a presentation about my recent around-the-world trip at the nursing home where he lives. I've never been spectacular at public speaking so it was an opportunity to ignore that particular shortcoming. It was fun talking about my trip and hearing stories of others' travels too.
